4. Hi, I used Spy-bot- search and destroy, it is really good. I managed to spot many torjan viruses using it and terminate them. The website to download this free spyware is http://www.spybot.com/en/download/ you can read the documentation there. Hope you like it. :-)

I use Ad-Aware from Lava soft, they offer a free home addition, with the ability for updates, I also use Avast Anti virus from Alwil Software, they also have a free home addition, it has removed trojans, and the programs that changed homepages, etc. i have used these instead of the programs that came w/vista.
