About Spyware

Spyware protection that installs it's self in your computer and can not be removed is there a way?

this has happened with two diffrent programs they install themselves and can not be removed. The first was Malware Protecter and now there is another . It changed my background and screen saver and disabled that option on my display tab. Now my computer is severly screwed up and I can not get it off. I can't afford any actual spyware protection and I need help getting my computer running properly again. If you know what this is please help me out here.

1. This is probably a virus. The best (and easiest) way to rid yourself of something like this (since you say you're really hosed), is to reformat the drives and re-install windows and your applications.
2. Here's a set of instruction to cure such infections in safe mode: http://hubpages.com/hub/free-malware-removal But... getting rid of malware doesn't mean your PC will be back to normal because malware can change registry keys etc. Those cannot be repaired by antimalware program. You either have to use some registry cleaner, or make reformat. In the latter case, there's no sense in runnign any scans because it's just a waste of time. Reformatting kills any malware.
