Why is my computer not taking the spyware protection?

Lots of pop up. Can't seem to stop. I re-enter the spyware protection and it is not taking it. What can I do? I can't seem to stop all the popups!

If you can, try to download, check for updates then run the following program in Safe Mode. Also rerun your antivirus while in Safe Mode. Set your IE 7 preferences to a more stringent setting for pop-ups. You probably are infested with spyware, so you need to take care of that too; Spybot and Ad-Aware are a can't miss combo and they are totally free. With the spyware cleaned out and IE 7 set to block pop-ups, you should have no problem---I never get pop-ups, and I use those two programs and just have my IE 7 pop-up blocker set to default setting.
Some anti-spyware requires you to disable your anti virus program, while installing the anti-spyware...When it is installed you can "Enable" your anti virus program again.
Sounds to me like you should consider on a different spyware program or doing a good anti virus scan. I have no pop ups at all on my computer unless I allow them from certain sites I go to. Try Windows Defender. I run panda and that works for me. Norton also runs a good one.
