what is the most reliable spyware protection software i can get? I need some spyware, I'm having a lot of problems with popups & slow browsers. HELP!! I currently use AOL Safety & Security, it tells me everything is fine, but it's not. Is this common? Is it OK to run 2 different kinds of security protection including spyware at the same time?
What is the best spyware protection program? just got my new computer and it's already showing the signs of a spyware infestation. And since it cost me a lot of money i have no limits on how much money it costs but i would prefer free. Any help? Spyware protection that installs it's self in your computer and can not be removed is there a way? this has happened with two diffrent programs they install themselves and can not be removed. The first was Malware Protecter and now there is another . It changed my background and screen saver and disabled that option on my display tab. Now my computer is severly screwed up and I can not get it off. I can't afford any actual spyware protection and I need help getting my computer running properly again. If you know what this is please help me out here.
What virus scanner or spyware protection do u recommend? I have Vista and I was wondering what would be a good virus scanner ? or does my laptop already have a firewall? What is a excellent and FREE virus and spyware protection you have used? I heard soooooooooo many people say AOL protection sucks, doesn't work, and is very slow or may even make their comp run slow. So far, I have Ad-aware SE personal (which a comp tech downloaded for me) and Windows Defender, but I would like to know other free services that will keep my comp spyware and virus free. Do U know any?All answers would be greatly appreciated:)
What spyware protection is safe and compatible to use with the new windows vista.? I have a norton virus that came with windows vista and I have added a c cleaner and spybot that I used daily but still I received an alert that it almost got hacked into but the problem was detected and fixed. So I wanted to get as much protection I can to prevent any kind of virus or anyone getting into my computer. Is this enough or do I need to download more. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Do I need virus/spyware protection for my Mac? I just upgraded to a mac. I do a lot of Internet browsing and a few downloads here and there. Mac prides itself on not having many viruses and spyware, but should I still get virus/spyware protection. If so, are there any that are Mac specific? Thanks for the help.
How do i get rid of "Spyware&Malware Protection" ? There are 3 icons on my desktop: Spyware&Malware Protection Error Cleaner Privacy Protector. No matter how many times i delete them they come back. and my REAL Antivirus (AVG) wont get rid of them. Please help me. they are causing all types of popups and stuff. after relizing it was as simple as restoring my computer to an earlier time... im good.

Where can I download a free spyware protection? My computer has been having many problems. I've been getting pop-up's constently by Outerinfo and ad.oinadserver.com. My computer has been running VERY SLOW. And there's constent noises from my PC. Oh and somthing always pop-ups saying Server Busy.... I have a hp pavillion a705w. I had a new hard drive and more memory installed and the computer went really quickly, then I put Norton antivirus on it and it became really slow again! Norton Internet Security not updating protection & spyware updates? I installed a copy of Norton's Internet Security on a newly purchased computer with Windows Vista. The program states that it "Needs Attention" and the protection and spyware udpates are not updated. When I click on the "Fix It" it goes through the live update but the definitions did not update? how do I get rid of/hide Aol spyware protection notices? these things pop up 2 at a time every 5 minutes or so, and i'm getting tired of having to click the close box all the time on them! I use firefox. The problem I want to fix, is hiding aol's spyware notifications! Ther'es no way to get rid of all spyware, so I want to hide aol's notices.
Virus/Spyware protection help for computer? I have Norton now, but it's expired and can't afford to renew it at the moment. Free anti spyware software with real time protection? I've used AVG anti spyware, but my trial period ran out so i've been looking for a free anti spyware software that has real time protection, which is very important to me. I have a windows 2000 computer, so things like wondows defender don't work for me. Does anyone know a program i could use? I've used spyware terminator, but i heard that might be a fake software. so i wanted to try something more trusted
Whats your personal favorite spyware protection program? I just bought this new laptop not that long ago, and the SOB's didnt have the "free" antivirius program that i was getting in stock. Im looking for a good, effective, free if possible, program and runs quietly in the taskbar.
